The AproTerm 9L muffle furnace is designed for industrial or laboratory heat treatment of materials.
The muffle is cast from a high temperature and ceramic mass around which the heaters are wound. The muffle furnace is equipped with a profile thermoregulator that allows 5 different programs to be set, for each program up to 5 thermal zones can be set, each with a heating or cooling rate and a temperature maintenance time. The thermostat retains the programmed modes after the power is switched off. The muffle furnace heaters are connected to a solid state switch that turns them on and off currentless. This extends the life of the heating elements and improves the accuracy of temperature maintenance. The door of the muffle furnace is opened so that the heated surface does not radiate to the hands of the furnace operator.
